During the lockdown a number of wildlife staff stayed behind to look after the animals on Thanda Safari.
Yesterday morning Dr Trevor Viljoen stopped by the reserve to change a bandage on a male Cheetah, which is currently kept in a boma to recover from a serious leg wound.
Lorraine Doyle (Thanda Wildlife Manager) and Mariana Venter (Thanda Wildlife Coordinator) assisted in the procedure.
The Cheetah is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery.
